The Digital Youth Council was founded by Harry McCann along with the help of TD, Ciaran Cannon and the Director of the Galway Education Centre, Bernard Kirk.
The Digital Youth Council was set up after the Excited movement in Dublin Castle because we saw that there was an opportunity to work with young people to improve STEM in education and everyday life.
The Digital Youth Council gathers the view and opinions of the young people in Ireland on STEM and expresses these to companies we work alongside like Twitter and RTE Digital and government departments like enterprise, education and communications.
The Digital Youth Council is made up of the Top 12 young people in Ireland named on www.digitalyouthcouncil.com
We have a Mini Council scheme in Schools in Ireland that allows all young people get involved in the Digital Youth Council. Anyone school can sign up by emailing : digitalyouthcouncil@Gmail.com
The Digital Youth Council will be launching our new App “Have Your Say” on the Android, Apple and Windows in early November 2014.
