Mary Immaculate College Limerick Master of Arts Educational Psychology

Applications are now being accepted for the MA in Educational* Psychology beginning in September 2016 at Mary Immaculate College.

The Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology (MAEP) is a two-year full-time programme at Mary Immaculate College which aims to prepare trainees for the range of autonomous and collaborative professional roles that are performed by educational psychologists (EPs) in a variety of contexts and with a range of client groups. A crucial element of the programme is the supervised placement experience which is sequenced across the two years with taught sessions and independent study to promote an appropriate balance in the integration of theory and practice.

*Please note that Mary Immaculate College is planning to offer a three-year full-time Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology. This programme is currently with the University of Limerick Academic Programme Review Committee for consideration. It is intended that the doctoral programme will, if approved, replace the MAEP. Applicants who, in the event of the Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology proceeding in September 2016, wish to be considered for the doctoral programme should indicate this on their application form.
