Here is an expert analysis of our current environment leading to UNFCCC COP21, Paris 2015.
Climate change is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with. Despite all the amazing efforts of governments and countries all over the world in trying to raise awareness about this matter, not everyone’s taking action.
Building resilient societies and economies will be key to coping with climate change. Many nations and communities are already doing this but far greater action and ambition will be needed to cost effectively manage the risks and impacts of extreme weather events now and into the future.
The Paris UN climate conference in December 2015 will deliver a new universal climate change agreement. The new agreement is aimed at putting the world firmly on track to a low-carbon, sustainable future that keeps a global temperature rise under 2 degrees C.
